HA! But if the country where you commit your crimes has any kind of appeal process, the mere mention of his name as your defender might be enough to grant you clemency.

bookchik, maybe that's why Gpanda's colleagues in his law firm refer to him as "Cousin Vinny."

Bob, enjoying you trip report. I know Karen is keeping you in Line, while Andy is not there. Someone's gotta do it

"In line" is a very fluid concept when dealing with the POB. A circle would be sufficiently linear, were it a small one.

Hopefully, the car is resting at night for its strenuous daylight excursions. do you think he paid extra for roadside assistance. Not a chance. Soon to stuck in a rice field near you.

just what i need is two ambulance chasers setting up my defense fund---it starts with negetive funds and ends with negetive funds...

ESK---give me a break, i do not travel with a measuring tape... refreshing meaning it was not like bath water, slightly cool.. you could jump right in... AS pools are salt water, here at tirta it is strong cloreen (sp).

Wow! I'm out of internet connection for a few days, come back and can't believe how long your thread has gotten! Sounds like you got to participate in some unusual celebrations! Glad you survived them!

so tuesday was spent just hanging around, reading, swimming and relaxing...

we had lunch with the german family, and strangely their stop in lovina is the same as ours, so we will meet up again... they have something to look forward to...

the food is decent here but not fabulous. the staff is very accomodating and bend over backwards to be of service... disappointingly there does not seem to be a manager---hahaha andy..

we even managed to stay up till after 10, watching tv---western shows... tens of channels available...we saw the queen open parliament with all its pagentry..

Wednesday

up a bit later... breakfast... K scheduled a 2 hour rice paddy walk with a private guide at 8:30---$25. its warm but there is a nice breeze, so she should be ok---due back in a 1/2 hour...ready for a swim i suspect---and so am i...

not sure what rest of day will hold...we may venture into town down by the sea??

We still don't know about the LDW option. Did he sign up for that? Money well spent under these circumstances.

As for bail, I figure all of us could raise those funds, no problem. In a month or two we could get you a few thousand Rupiah easily.

And, having been in Bali now for a few weeks, have you yet had a sate? Have fun. Pls tell Karen she is a saint

While Karen's sainthood can be debated ( I'm in favor), there's no doubt that she is a martyr. Her suffereing has been immense. Hard to imagine, but she's been accompanying Bob for all these years. How many general managers do you think she's met? Hundreds, I'm sure.

I do notice that his Bobness has grown silent on the driving aspect of this trip. What shall we infer from this unusual condition, i.e., silence.

That Karen has hidden the car keys???

Karen is an extraordinarily giving person. She worked her entire professional life as a nurse. She has started countless numbers of IVs and cleaned bodily fluids off untold scores of patients. She also raised two lovely and talented daughters. (Bob had something to do with that, but he also spent time in a bank, warning people not to squander their money on LDW when traveling out of town.) All those decades of doing that have given her plenty of experience in whatever "The Bob & Andy Show" may throw her way.

Eks,

I'm packed and ready but I can never replace Jack! I hope he will be back on the big screen but the ending had no excitement - too bad. I've met Kiefer about 4 or 5 times and he was drunk as a skunk on 2 of those occasion. Now if you were to meet me 4 or 5 times I would only be drunk 1 or 2 times the most!

Hanuman, I don't know...you were at Gpanda's the weekend of the Boston Fodors GTG, but you're unable to remember a thing...

Yes, frankly, I think Kiefer needs to get into a good 12-step program and repeat it 3 times. After 36 steps, he'll simply be too exhausted to drink!

bookchick, My alter ego reported back that he was drug and molested by an American Panda and that was why he couldn't remember a thing. He does have recurring nightmares of a man in pink Speedo dancing sensually in front of a fireplace and is seeking therapy at the moment.

Seeking therapy? I'd think after all that he experienced (based on your last post), he'd require institutionalization by now!

Eks,

It was such a shock that Jack married Chloe and then he had to eliminate her in the end. The writer could have given us a proper ending instead of this strange twist.

LDW in Needahm stands for "Looks Doggone Worthless". A much used phrase in that ridiculous hamlet.
