Hello. Has anyone stayed there? How was it? We are looking for a nice hotel for a quiet stay but not too far away from Chaweng center.

Not long back from the Chaweng Regent. Very nice. Set in amongst lots of greenery. The beach is a lot quieter than towards the centre of Chaweng. Food there excellent but loads of good places to eat nearby as well. It is a peaceful hotel but immediately you step out of the hotel you will find it busy! Chaweng is NOT a place to go if you want peace and quiet!

Thank you Fiona for these informations. We are aware that there isn't much peace in Chaweng but i'm glad that the beach isn't too busy. Could you please tell me too how it was at night - was it very noisy or just "regular" hotel-noise?

It is VERY peaceful in the hotel. The rooms are at the back of the hotel in little cottage rooms or in the main wing. You actually feel as if your room is in the middle of a forest!!

Thank you again Fiona! I just wanted to make sure that my parents will feel comfortable there. They were looking for a nice beach, quiet rooms, good hotel but not too far away from everything. Sounds as if we've found the right place then!
