Received my Nancy Chandler Map!

Got my map and it's loaded with info....glad I held out for the revised 24th edition...
Only one thing that I think would improve the map and that's lamination. I can see where it will be in tatters by the end of our trip.

I ended up having them email me the credit card application....printed it, filled it out, scanned it and then emailed it back to them.
not the easiest way to do it but it worked....their online visa verification was not working for some reason and I couldn't use my cc.

Very happy that I can now see where everything is located and get a feel for the city.

Thanks for your help on this...

Glad you got it straightened out. I e-mailed Nima about your situation. Happy Travels!

Yeah...it's a huge city and we have a lot of "must sees" that we may not be able to.

We'll just do the best we can with the time we have...

the map will help though....

thanks again!

I just got an e-mail from Nima (Chandler). I'll have to reread it and then I'll post to you later. I kind of had to speed read through it as it was a bit long...catching up on things. I was kind of in a hurry to leave the house.
She did say that there are some glitches in the system of their new pay system. I'll elaborate more later.
I'm on a computer right now and not on my e-mail machine where the e-mail came through and sometimes after opening an e-mail on the machine, it's not accessible over the computer system. I had planned on rereading it on this computer system and then post the info, but it didn't show up. So, I'll reread things on the other system when I get home.
Nima's here in California, but up north, which is why she's just getting back to me. My e-mail kind of got buried in her massive stack she said. I figured she was out of BK because when she's in BK she's always e-mailed back right away. Happy Travels!

WE have used our tattered map extensively. If you're wandering somewhere and need a bite to eat, the restaurants listed are always solid choices.

It is an absolute necessity for the weekend market.
