Ratt the Driver

I see everyone talking about Ratt the driver, she sounds great. I'd like to possibly book her for a trip in May. How can I get in touch with her? Is there a website? What does she charge?

she charges 250B per hour around bkk and adds 1B per kilometer when you go outside town....a 13 hour day in the country cost me about $100 with a good tip included....she is fabulous and her sister does the same thing in chiang mai area, although she speaks less english i understand...

e-mail: [email protected]

she has a web site: www.ratservice.com

she will customize anything to your specs...she is not a guide but rather a driver with unique talents and abilities...you will love her...her time fills up quickly so contact her immediately....

Thanks for the tip rhkkmk, I've emailed Ratt to see if she's available.

Has anyone hired Ratt's sister in Chiang Mai? I'm also visiting Chiang Mai / Chiang Rai in late May.

I used Poon (Ratt's sister) for three days a few months ago and loved her. Her English is not very good but somehow we had no problem communicating. She is a very special woman-- a really good, kind person. And she knows where to go and where not to go. I have already booked her for my return next year.

You contact her via Ratt.

Ditto Gloria's response. She also knows great & unusual places for shopping. She took us to the home of a sculptor for an elephant carving. We loved her. Tell her hello from Carole & Rob from Connecticut.

we were lucky enough to have both ratt and her sister poon as our guides last october. poon took us on a 4 day journey thru northern thailand, sharing a room with my daughter. what an incredible trip.
ratt was wonderful, always helping us with cold bottled water and she knew where everything is. she took us to and from the airport and shopping for two days.
