Don't use all caps in your posts.

Yes, it's possible to get to Guangzhou in that hour, but not as easy. Direct buses, trains and ferries all end at around 10pm.

That late, you can't use the KCRC train to Lowu either. Which leaves one option. The land crossing at Lok Ma Chau/Huanggang. You can take a green-colored taxi from HKG (perhaps HK$300), or couple of buses (with connection in Yuen Long, but a lot cheaper) to the Sun Tin Interchange. From there, you switch to the Huangbus to cross the two border checkpoints.

From the Shenzhen side, I don't know if there are public buses after midnight to Guangzhou, but you can always negotiate a private car or taxicab.

Or if money is no object, arrange a private car to do the whole trip door to door.

BTW, next time use a better subject title. I don't even know why I click on the thread to start with.

Ok sooooorrrryyy!!

I wont use caps never!! hahahaha

Well, I think that option about taking buses and taxis at midnight is not a good offer, specially if we dont speak chinese, and we dont know very well that area. So was waiting to hear about someone who knows if there is something like a limousine(express bus) to guangzhou from any place at any enterprise.

I have been looking so many internet pages, but every one shows different schedules some of them departin the first travel to guangzhou at 6:00 am and other internet pages showing departures only at 8:00 am, so...

What can I do? believe the earlier ones or the others????

Hope anyone who live there or did the same, to tell me the last hour options and the first ones, having in mind that Iīll be arriving at 10:20 and departing from guangzhou to beijing at early in the morning

thnks a lot

Why are you going to Guangzhou in the first place? Do you have to be there?

If you need to fly out of CAN to PEK "early in the morning", as you said, then there's no way you can get there departing Hong Kong in the morning. It'll take you at least 3 hours by road, or 2 hours by train. And then another 45 minutes at least to get to Guangzhou airport, and to allow for check-in time. You're talking about a noon flight the earliest.

If you MUST BE in Guangzhou same night and fly out of there early next morning, then the only reasonable way is to get a private car service. That's probably going to cost you more than flying non-stop HKG-PEK.

So, let's here WHY you are doing this, because it makes little sense to me.

Anyways, if you want specifics, the two main coach companies for Hong Kong - Guangzhou direct buses are China Travel Service and Trans-Island. Earliest departure by CTS is 6:50a from Metropark Hotel in Causeway Bay. But it probably makes several other stops before heading to border, so it'll be at least 10am the very earliest it can get to Guangzhou.

First departure by Trans-Island is 7:45 from Chai Wan. Again several other stops, so you won't get to Guangzhou before 11.

If you take the direct train, first departure is at 7:28am, arriving Guangzhou East 9:11am. Maybe this will work for you.

JGGONZ:

I see that you have posted only once to Fodors and this is that one time.

Please understand that there is no reason to be rude on this board as every person who answers your postings is trying to help you.

You have gotten schedules and advice from the best person on this board relative to train and plane schedules in Hong Kong. He speaks Cantonese, was originally from Hong Kong, and just returned from Hong Kong. You will not receive any better information from any other board or person.

You say that you have searched the internet and can't find a solution to your problem. rkkwan has given you all the possible options and told you that there is only one way given your impossible schedule and that is by private car/taxi. He also informed you that it's quite expensive.

Take this information and use it, but please don't be rude here. If you must be rude, then go somewhere else for your information.

Actually, I just remember that my friend runs a 24-hour express bus service from HKG to anywhere in China. It's a highly secretive service and you will never find it on the internet.

Give me your credit card number and your full name. He'll pick you up and drive you to Guangzhou on the night of June 1.
