Pimalai, Meridien Phuket Yacht club or JW Marriott Phuket?

We are looking for peace and quiet, nice ambience, lush grounds and beautiful beach. Which resort would you choose for us? They all seem nice. Thank you.

We stayed at the JW Marriot for part of our honeymoon. Very nice, great service, comfortable rooms. Located in the more northern part of the island, close to the airport, and away from the very crowded touristy parts. The rack rates were reasonable (Sept. 2002) but we used cerificates for free nights! Even better. It is a hike to the main parts of the island, but for us we enjoyed a quiter scene.

Have not stayed at your other choices.

My choice for a great hotel w/b the Chedi. Its beautiful eveyone has their own bungalow with a pourch and almost eveyone overlooks the sea. the pool is beautiful the svc is outstanding spa treatments are inexpensive and to die for. It's tropical and lush, quite and has transport to patong beacn nightly

It's ben many years since I stayed at the Phuket Yacht Club, but what I liked about it was the location away from the busy-ness of much of Phuket. Every room has a water view, and all have private outdoor patio areas. Someone who has stayed there more recently can comment on service.

I stayed at the Yacht club a few years back. Lovely smallish (110 rooms) hotel with big, generally very private, balcony. Located on a beautiful quiet beach near to a cape where there are excellent views of the sunset. The hotel has a very upmarket feel, without been too expensive. The only draw back for you may be that the hotel is built on a hill side and the griunds aren't that big.
