Phuket/Siem Riep/Saigon flight

Hi, I am planning trip to Thailand/Vietnam
in december. What is the best way to get from Phuket to Saigon with stopover in Siem Riep?

Thanx, Mike

You'll need to fly Phuket to Bangkok to Siem Reap first. Bangkok to Siem Reap is only serviced by Bangkok Air. Phuket to Bangkok you are spoiled for choice...Thia Air, Bangkok Air, 12 Go, Nok Air, Air Asia, maybe more. Siem Reap to HCMC can be flown on Vietnam Airlines. There is also a bus option, though that would take time.

Another way is to to Kuala Lumpur and then to Siem Reap on discount airline Air Asia for as low $1239depending on how far in advance you book and the day of travel. But you would require an overnight stay.

As far as a bus from Siem Reap to Saigon, there is supposed to be a new bus service twice a week direct. It will take a good 8 hrs plus and cost around $20. Otherwise you would hace to take the bus to Phnom Penh and overnight and then continue on. Flying would be the best option but not cheap.
