Phone card recommendations calling from US to China?

Do you all have a favorite company/web site to buy phone cards to call from the US to China? I heard that the going rate is about 3 cents/min.

Thanks!

I have used <onesuite.com> satisfactorily for several years. The rates from US to China are 3.7 cents/min (toll free) and 2.2 cents/min (local access). I find it to be very convenient including recharging your minutes and looking up details of each call. All is done on line.

My colleague, who's a heavy caller to her relatives in China, also uses onesuite.com.

Thanks for the info. I need to buy some phone cards. Did you hear in the news or newspaper that there is a free number you call in Iowa and then call out to China FREE!! It just costs whatever you get charged for the call in Iowa. We have used that. SOmetimes it works, sometimes it's not available. I guess not too reliable. Price is right though!!

I tried the 2 Iowa based phone numbers this morning and they are not in operation. One of the 2 numbers gave me a Minnesota based number and I tried without success.
Obviously the dependability and longevity of these companies are always in question.

The prices with those phonecards are low enough that I don't bother with those free IA numbers. I also tried, and the connection rate is so low, with a noticeable lag when it connects.

Good to know. Thanks! Now I know I need to buy some of those phone cards before I leave and not rely on the free ones.

I bought a One suite phone card. It's great! The connection was good quality, just like calling locally. Also that 2.2 cents is so cheap!! Thanks for the recommendation!
