pacific delight tours

Considering tour with this company in October to include Japan and China for 18 days. Price seems right but concerned about group size. They have told me usually no more than 16 persons. Comments anyone?

Several years ago I went on an independent trip to Thailand with Pacific Delight Tours so I can not comment on group size. But we had a great trip and everything went smoothly. Pacific Delight was very reliable and a good value.

John, the queries are all old. The rat is the guy who has pulled every post about the company and responded with the same diatribe.

...until he reappears with another 'r' in his name. Hopefully the editors have figured a way for spammers not to be able to enroll quite as easily again. Katie/editors, can you guys let us know your take on all of this?

Does Fodor's do email validation? I can't remember from when I signed up years ago...where you have to activate your account from a valid email address?

At least this way, they can report the spammers activities to the to their email provider (Gmail, Yahoo, etc.)

Sorry everyone that I missed the dates - I was so incensed that someone can be so silly as to think they can get away with this and think that Fodorites are so stupid as to be duped by it .

John, what made you drag this post up? The others were brought back up to the top by a person trying to denounce the company and have since been deleted but this one seems to have been re-born by yourself.

shanek, John wasn't the one who brought up the old post. Our dear friend, newyorrrker, posted several responses to it, all denouncing Pacific Delights, as he did on numerous other posts. But when the editors deleted newyorrrker's posts that left John's post as the first recent one.

Thanks Kathie, that explains it. The other posts seem to be completely removed which is why I was confused.

Pacific Delight's ownership has changed in early 2009.
It's no longer the same.

Considering a China Impressions tour with Pacific Delight in the fall. Has anyone taken a trip with these folks recently to China? Comments?

I understand that Pacific Delight sends people to Excelsior Tailors in Bangkok and that is where Dogster got got his polyester cami safari dinner suit which has been so much admired in Varanasi , let alone Mumbai .
