Hi all, We're headed to Nags Head in a few weeks. Last time we were there my son was too young to do one of the wild horse tours up Corolla way, much to my daughter's dismay so this time it's on our "to do" list. Looking online, they all seem pretty much the same-is this right? Has anyone had a particularly good (or bad) experience on any of them? Thanks!

We've used Wild Horse Adventure Tours twice in the last few years and had a great time. The Jeep tours seem to be the most popular, but we did the Suburban tours. The Suburbans provide a somewhat smoother ride, which is helpful if anyone is prone to getting carsick, and you don't get so wind blown. The horses are absolutely beautiful!

Thanks bwcnc. We'll check them out! We had to skip it last trip because my son was too small but my DH has informed me we are "doing this" on this trip!

A group of us did the horse tours in an open jeep. It was a blast, fun and interesting. Depends on your sons age which tour you do but it is highly recommended. If he is young perhaps the suburban wouldl be best.

Thanks Diann. We just bit the bullet and reserved for the jeep tour. He's 4 now and should be fine-the faster, the crazier, the better in his book!
