Pacific Airlines has gone budget and they have some great prices for flights within VN and from VN to Taiwan. I just checked on a flight from HCMC to Danang in March and the total with tax was USD $14.93 r/t.

I'm hoping to book a flight with Pacific when we're in Vietnam at the beginning of March... I tried to reserve tickets last night but the online credit card payment wouldn't work (I tried Amex, MC and Visa!).

Seems like the price has already gone up - 31$USD, but that is still cheap!

The process is LOOOONNGGG...passport numbers, birthdays, middle names... With 4 passengers it took me almost half an hour just to get it all filled out and then the cards wouldn't work so it was all a wash.

I emailed their customer service and will see what I can find out...will post when I get back to report on the flight.

Any report back AmyNYC? We leave on Saturday for HCMC for three weeks in Vietnam. No flights purchased yet for travel within vietnam - this sure would be a deal!

Unfortunately not. We leave tomorrow for Siem Reap and I still have not booked this ticket. I guess I will try to do it from Cambodia. We shall see...
