Ode to Bangkok Hotels

There is but one Bob of Bangkok fame
International travel is his game
When in the land of smiles he will retort
I prefer to stay at the Marriott Resort
A lovely hotel on that magical river
To stay anywhere else doth make him quiver
Guenmai would argue for the Four Seasons
Perchance what could be the reasons?
Gloria is the queen of the Oriental
But the arguments against are so elemental
Kathy does prefer to stay at the ROS
That option is out according to the Boss
Then there is the Penn- its truly 5 star
Some say its on the wrong side of the river
But alas I beg to differ
In the end it outshines them all by far!

Well done Bill. Hopefully, Carol will not critique your meter. She's a tough taskmaster.

You've passed the test, Bill. Andy, keep working on your limerick rhythm.

Carol

PS, Bill, what about service apartments in your ode? Omni, Grand President, Somerset... etc

There is a hotel called the Pen,
A fabulous place to stay in
You can eat your papaya next to the Chao Phraya
And you 'll never switch hotels here again.
