NYE in Bangkok, Vertigo or Peninsula River Cafe &Terrace

We currently have reservations at both, any recommendations for one over the other? I don't see the food reviews being so good at either.

At the Penn you are on the river and the fireworks may be better seen and more of them as each hotel along there should put forth their own show. You won't go wrong with the food at the Penn if you are not looking for Michelin stars. Where are you staying? Does your hotel have a manditory NY Eve meal that you will have to pay for? Many do.

riverside would be my choice too as the fireworks are fantastic.....go late however as they will not start until 9 or after...

you will not see the fireworks from vertigo very well.

Thanks, we will be staying at the Peninsula. There is no requirement to do NYE there.
