Thanks for the nice words. Using this for the first time so thanks for the suggestions. Have just been replying to various previous threads this morning.

The taller of the falls had two wooden cubicles beside two of the swimming areas so you can change comfortably. Go to the swimmming area (indicated with signs) nearest the picnic area--you can swim under the light falls coming down. There were also toilets (asia style) at the entrance to the park. We brought a small handtowel from the hotel which sufficed in drying us enough before changing as weather was warm.

Understand the other smaller limestone falls also have changing areas and facilities.

At the caves there is a bathroom, and at the two stops en route there are also places where you can go for a small fee to the owners. Generally, we were pleasantly surprised at how prepared each location was setup for tourists, especially considering newish location. Easier to access a clean bathroom than Manhattan!! These basic things make a big difference.

I'm topping this even though it's an old post because it's terrific. The planning process is extremely helpful to read. You've put together all the details of planning for the trip I'm planning next year! You've planned out most, if not all, of my trip! I've been reading your pre-trip report and have also been reading the actual TR. I had to smile when you were still considering Chiang Rai, because that's pretty much where I am, too. I'm having a hard time figuring out what to see and what to leave out, and this has given me a lot to work with (tho now I have the additional confusion of whether to see LP instead of CR!).!You've done an amazing job of putting the planning all together! I'm using so much of this info for my own planning now.
