North/Central Vietnam in June/July, is it a Good Time?
Hi all, I was thinking of travelling to Vietnam next February but now I am considering on going in June or July so that my daughter can go with me.
I am thinking of going to Hanoi, Halong Bay, Hue, Hois An and Nha Trang. My question is, is it a good time to visit Vietnam? I checked weatherbase.com and it seems that there is no big differnce from other months, except for humidity that seems higher. What do you think? Has anybody been that at that time?
Thanks in advance for any feedback.

uhm.. let me see.
February: travelling without ur children vs. weather is dry and nice.
July: travelling with ur children vs. weather is hot and humid.
It's tough, right?
If i were you, i would choose the latter!

Any time is a good time in Vietnam. Although in February the north (Hanoi and Halong Bay) will be just emerging from winter, so it will be coolish. The downside to that is sometimes you might find a trip to Halong Bay a little foggy and be disapppointed. The south is always hot anyway.
Personally, I'd go a little later. My trip was in April, and the weather was just about perfect.
Anyway, there are plenty of places on the net to check the Vietnam weather.
Just remember the north has four seasons, and the south only has two.

June is the beginning of the rainy season in the south. Probably won't have much effect on you if you're in the north other than it will be quite hot! If I were you, I spend more time in Hoi An and skip Nha Trang. Only real reason to go there is the beach and the beach is just as nice in Hoi An, but Hoi An town is a fantastic place compared to Nha Trang city.
