Naadam Festival Help
Hi,
I’m looking for recommendations for a tour company that I could use for the festival. I have already starting looking around but I am having difficulty because I am on my own. Any ideas?
Thanks

Suggest reading this: https://www.intrepidtravel.com/adven...adam-festival/
If Intrepid is too, er, intrepid, you could try MIR: https://www.mircorp.com/trip/mongoli...adam-festival/
Or GeoEx: https://www.geoex.com/trips/mongolia-explorer/
I have traveled with all three. You'll get more handholding on the latter two. Maybe too much, depends on what kind of traveler you are. I believe they all waive the single supplement if you're willing to share with someone else on the tour. When I have done that it has almost always worked out well. Again, YMMV.

Thanks for the links. Just had a quick peak and they don't seem to offer anything just for the 2-3 days of the festival. I will contact them though and see if they can put something together. Thanks again!

You just want something for a couple of days? Back in 2004 I used this company - https://travelcentre.com.au/ - for train tickets and home stays in Russia and a private trip out to the countryside in Mongolia. Might be worth trying them, but you would be better off checking a few guidebooks for current listings for companies in Mongolia.

Yes, I have my trip planned and have 4 extra days over the festival. I have contacted the place I'm staying to see if they can arrange something, but am waiting replies. My understanding is that you can get tickets when there, but I don't want to leave things to chance. Thanks again
