Mt-Fuji: everything you've ever wanted to know

is in the latest online delivery of Nipponia

http://web-jpn.org/nipponia/nipponia35/en/index.html

A Japanese friend once said to me "there are two kinds of fools: those who have never climbed Fuji-San, and those who have climbed it more than once". I'm in the first category

Florence, this makes me want to go read the back issue of Nipponia on Kyoto (I am probably more likely to go there again than I am to climb Fuji). Thank you for introducing us to this publication.

For those of you who are not familiar w/that publication, you can access the back issues on the website. They have had good issues on Osaka, Kyoto, castles in Japan, hot springs, etc. Great topics of widespread interest.

season ends in Oct and playoffs begin. If I remember correctly last year Bennie won the championship right around the same time as the World Series.

Aloha!
