men's suits in BKK

I have heard that you can have a man's suit made very quickly and inexpensively in Thailand. Anyone know about the prices and recommend a tailor or where to go and find one? thanks

I second the vote for Jesse and Victor. Figure on $250-$300 per suit. Plan on at least 3 fittings and a weeks time to assure a proper fit.

JACK AT Monet Sarto Tailors, in a 2 level small mall behind the Marriott Hotel/Spa did very nice work at reasonable prices for mens clothes. Ask him to use Hugo Boss or Canalli 130 or 140 superfine lightweight wool.It costs a bit more but they feel like butter. Suits were $350 and slacks were $75. On slacks I can tell you the same slacks with that material would cost $250-$300 in US. He is obsessed with fittings and may have you back 3-4 times in a 3-4 day period and then once you are satisfied he will mail them home for you on a date you give him s you are home when they arrive. On the shipping you can get him to split the cost. I shipped 8 slacks and 2 suits and my share was about $50. I do not think it pays to have shirts made, though.
While he does very good work on mens clothing he is not expert on womens clothing for some reason.
