Sounds so nice!!! I love shopping at Tutuban...counting the days until I can get back.
What is Corregidor? How far from Manila? How big a boat?
Sounds like you have a lot packed in. In the evenings do you guys just get a bite to eat and go back to the hotel or do you do family things? I can't wait for the trip report!!!

Ok- how about Local resident rate- will that placate the Dems?
Corregidor- is on the Bataan peninsula. Its whewre MacArthur and the troops made their last stand fighting the Japanese invasion of the islands.I think the boat ride is about 20-30 minutes- its not very far from Manila.
Not sure how big the boat is.
Actually on this trip we are doing so much that our shopping time is more limited.

Bob- I'm not that old! The people there really have MacArthur to thank for liberating the islands as the top navy brass and the president were going to bypass the islands and take the fight to Japan. MacArthur convinced them to liberate the Phillipines first.
MacArthur should have run for president of the Phillipines- he would have won handily!
