Pook, sorry to hear that you won't be joining us (but given the distance, I certainly understand.) That's 2 for 2 GTGs that we've missed each other at.
Lucy, you betcha...you're on the list! I just had the venue for the GTG confirm availability this afternoon, so the mass email should be going on shortly.
So glad to know you'll be coming out here again--we so enjoyed meeting you 2 years ago in Pasadena!
I don't know if I can compete with flamenco dancing, but I certainly think this year's GTG will be a lot of fun...so glad so many regulars will be joining us in sunny SoCal.

Even if I wore a speedo, I would not strut I would merely perambulate. Also, would a sppedo wearing panda even be noticed in LA? I do guarantee that if I use the pool at least some small portion of LA will get to see the speedo.
Billy, when the details are available, you might start a new thread. We are not known for our patience.

Did everyone else read between the lines when the POB referenced "local people". Clearly, he's expecting special treatment because he's an out of town guest. The ever humble Pandas do not need this. We ( I'm sure Beth would be appalled if she knew I was writing in the first person plural) do note that Cambridge is slightly farther from LA than Needham.

Maybe someone could start a new thread with the details succinctly stated... I could probably place a "sticky" up in all of the Forums sometime next week that links to that new thread.
I could include a GTG wrap-up in next week's newsletter too. There are several in the works at the moment, though to my knowledge the LA one is by far the largest.

Katie, I actually already emailed you about this last week--if you don't mind, can you email me back as soon as you get a chance?

Thanks!
