I'm leaving for Japan in 3 days and thanks to all of you, feel confident that I'll see lots of amazing sights! I have one last (probably stupid) question - i've googled but still not certain. To charge my iPhone6 in Japan, do I need an adapter for the electrical outlets (I don't think so, but....?) or a converter for different electrical voltages? I'm not techie so was confused by Google which seemed to be yes, but no. Thank you!

No you don’t need an adapter. The outlets in Japan have two prongs so anything you want to plug in with two prongs works fine, such as the iPhone charger. Anything with three plugs will need an adapter. Have fun!

And here is another item you might want to forego: I just returned to NYC after being away a few months. It appears the the hit items cluttering the streetside stands of every West African vendor (at least around Union Square and lower 5th Avenue, where I was today) are copies of those synthetic Origami Hanna-fu purses. Once an item makes it so far down the chain, It's off my list, as I do not like to see myself coming and going with the same handbag so many people are toting. Although might be great items for a fashion-addled teenager.

So if you are shopping for a unique fashion item, you might want to pass up those bags if prefer to carry something less ubiquitous, in NYC anyway...

What isn't eventually copied? But, to each his own.

Happy Travels!

I’ve yet to see copies of my favorite bags copied. Or much else that I own. But I do not buy logo bags. (Oh yes that period diring the early 80s when I scooped some Fendi luggage that no one had heard of, and a Marc Cross canvas logo shoulder. ).

Sprang for a Loewe flamenco last year. Not spied copies yet but there is no discernable logo.

Happy shopping!!!

As I mentioned upthread... to each his own. I've seen plenty copies of both logo bags and non-logo bags and other items. But, I buy what I like and of a quality of which I think will hold up in the long run.

Happy Travels!
