Krabi Sheraton or pimalai?

Planning 4 nights in feb. Stayed at rayavadee about 8 years ago. Now trying to decide between Sheraton or pimalai. Sheraton would be free using miles or could pay for pimalai as it looks great. Is Sheraton ok? Looking for decent beach, a few activities but basically just want to relax. It's an anniversary trip. What should I do?

We have stayed at the Sheraton several times. Lovely property, room very comf, good but pricey hotel food on property. There are several places to eat just across the road, so you are not stuck eating there, beacuse it is a way out of town. If you are going to veg and relax it is perfect. We aranged for a boat to pick us up at the beach and take us out to the Islands for the day. Lots of fun and saves going into town to get a boat.

beach is flat and quite nice, but not fabulous... there are lovely lawns which go right down to the beach and you can relax on chaises under the huge coconut palm trees... its a perfect site... two huge pools as well--one for adults only... sheraton is on a huge piece of property...
