Korean Air Lines
Will be flying from Los Angeles to Chaing Mai in a few months. Seems like the easiest trip would be on Korean. The only reviews on this forum go back to 2004, 2005 and are not particularly good. Does anyone have any current info.
Thanks.
Thanks.

We've flown with Korean several times - using them for trips to Thailand, Vietnam and India and we cannot say enough good things about the airline or the Korean airport. Don't hesitate to use them. They are our airline of choice. Check the configuration of seats. If you fly on a plane with two seats in the back (economy class) - try to snatch them up. There was lots of leg room. Seats are comfortable, service is outstanding and food is good.

Korean Air used to be the super-budget airlines of Asia, and was known for its bad service, but a while ago they completely redid everything. Now it is known for being one of the better airlines in Asia.

I took Korean RT to Tashkent from SFO in May. I got a complimentary hotel room, shuttle ride, and meals for my long layover in Incheon. Both flights were fine, lots of legroom, good service and meals. I would highly recommend this airline. Their fare was the best by far.

currently they are my #1 airline... I seek them out whenever possible their seats on the A380 are larger than any other airline that I have seen. the service is perfect, the food is good, the entertainment system is excellent, and finally their prices from usa to asia can't be beat except maybe by china air and who wants to fly them..
in nov I fly them from japan to bangkok
