KimJapan's trip blog
Well, it started out as a report style, and has evolved into more photos. I've had a terrible time uploading the pages...even here at the Peninsula the internet connection is lousy. Here's the link for anyone who is interested.

We've been having a fantastic trip.
The Four Seasons in Singapore was very, very good...from service to room to food. No complaints...great location, too. We would definitely not have liked staying in the Esplanade/Marina Bay area...it's much to slick for our taste there, though it was nice to visit the area and to go to the theater there...Esplanade Theater is very, very nice.
Siem Reap is at the top of our list for a resturn visit...we are thinking of allowing it at least 2 weeks next time, and Teaghan is talking about a month. We met 2 young men who were volunteering at one of the PLF's schools for 2 weeks...very cool, to say the least...and it seems Teaghan likes the idea as well, though she's a little young yet to go it without at least one parent I think. We really loved it there. Ponheary and her family were wonderful...we feel lucky to have met them.

Kim, so good to hear from you and know that you are having a good time. Seeing all those pics of the temples really took me back to SR and I find myself wanting to return. Anxious to hear and see a lot more! Thanks for the report!

Great Log! Love all of your pictures. Your pictures of the Victoria Angkor helped me decide to change or reservations from Hotel de la Paix. It looks much more relaxing, and I think the kids will enjoy it more. Can't wait to read more..
Thanks, Heather

Thank you for the time and effort you have put into your blog. I rate it a complete success! I am planning our trip to Thailand and Seim Reap with my husband and daughter(20 years) so I found it helpful, exciting and amusing. Please don't say"come and look at this" from the computer room of our house at the moment!!

KimJapan,
Just returned from a travel whirlwind -three back-to-back trips (Chile, Cape Cod & Michigan). Took a quick look at your blog, will read tomorrow. I'm thrilled you like the Victoria and can't wait to hear about the Anantara.

Tong is a riot. She's a talker and an eater. We really enjoyed meeting her...and T and I are looking forward to one more day with her end of the month.
The food sounds like a lot, but we really only had a couple of bites of each thing...we shared, and failed to finish everything. Nevertheless, it was fantastic. This trip there have been no stomach problems...well, Rich begged an immodium from the Peninsula nurse before going out with Tong...but he wasn't sick (no pain, no fever, no bad feeling...just, ahhh...frequent).
We're now at the JW Marriott in Phuket. As large resorts go, this is a good one. Teaghan loves the circus training and the kids club...I didn't see her yesterday until 4:00 when she did trapeze and I watched...too fun. Will post pictures and more in the blog today or tomorrow.
