Japan airlines web site

Is it possible to book a flight through the Japan Air Web site (JAL)? I'm having a difficult time seeing prices and finding where to actually make a reservation. Flying to HCMC in February.

Assuming you are from the US, you can book from here. http://www.japanair.com/e/index.php If you are from somewhere else, start here www.japanair.com and choose your country.

At the first link that KimJapan listed click on the "BOOK ONLINE" link on the left side of the page, below the login box. That launches a new browser window that says "JAL - Powered by Travelocity" and has a "Book a Flight". After clicking that it is like booking on travelocity only without the $5 fee.

If you don't see the new browser window after you click on BOOK ONLINE then you need to adjust your browser settings.

Thanks to you both. I kept linking to the Japan site, not the USA site. I see a great fare on kayak.com, but can never get that fare to show up once I go through the Web site.

Um, yes. They are partners and have codeshare flights, AA xxxx operated by Japan Airlines. At least some, if not all, of the JL flights between US and Japan are codeshares with AA.

I booked my VN Japan Airlines ticket through AA. Did it online with a fare MUCH better than if I'd used the phone. However, JL cancelled my outgoing flight!!! I received a phone call from AA who told me I had to rebook/reschedule directly with JL. JL told me that since AA had issued the ticket they had to do the rebook.
AA then told me I had to personally go to an AA office or ticket counter for the rebook which I did (thank God just a 40 minute drive away). It worked out ok but it was kind of messy and time consuming.

Thanks!
