We used Greaves. They were fantastic.
No complaints and 100% satisfaction.
I would definately use them again and recommend them to anyone planning a trip to India.

Hi rhkkmk,
Who at Castle and King did you work with and when where you in India last?
Did you ever work with compass tours?
I am going to India and want to make sure the company will be there. I appreciate your help

I've used Durjay at Compass and was very satisfied. Also used Vini at Vinstring Travel on a second trip. Vini is especially good if you are on a tight budget or just want parts of your trip done- train tickets, hotel rooms, etc. both are based in Delhi.

Hi Poliana ..

We did the Kerala & Rajasthan bit last year. spent about 12 days in Rajistan & then 9 days in Kerala . From what I remember Udaipur to Jaipur would be a long journey . We spent a night in Pushkar on the way to Udaipur - not sure if there are any flights directly but if yu travel by car make sure yu get a more comfortable car.
We arranged our trip thro' Travelvirus - google for website. We were reasonably happy with the arrangements. Am not sure abt ur Budget But Imperial In Delhi was perfect....probably one of the best places we have stayed in . Could not stay in Amarvilas though which I belive is amazin........
Have a great trip

i was in india in november, 2006....

i did all my arrangements with avrind at castle...he is the owner..

i also dealt with the owner of compass, durjay, prior to selecting whom i would engage....he was perfect also...

in the end it came down to price...

if you end up with castle and will have a driver, ask to have anoop....he is fabulous...

Definitely highly recommend www.rajuindiatravel.com

Our route was Agra, Jaipur, Ranthambore, Bundi, Chittorgahr, Rawla Khempur, Udaipur, Kumbalgahr, Ranakpur, Jodhpur, Pushkar. Rajasthan is a wonderful place with so many amazing forts and palaces. We stayed at some fantastic places and managed to attend two weddings!! We were also some of the lucky ones who saw two tigers in Ranthambore!! Having a car and a driver meant we were able to visit places that are not easily accessible by other means. Our driver was fantastic and in India, the quality of the driving is essential. Nothing was too much trouble for him. We met with Raju (the boss) twice during the trip, once at the beginning to finalise the itinerary and also on our return to Delhi. He is an extremely honest and genuine person whose priority is giving a first class service to his customers. We cannot praise the services of the company highly enough.

Geeman, when I used the link you provided I got a "can't find the server" notice. I then Googled the company, used the Google link and still got the same message. I'm trying to decide on which company and thought I would check Raju. Hope this is a temporary, technical problem but thought you'd want to know.

I used www.Yatrik.com for my three week trip and found them flawless. Ask for Ajay. (Yatrik means "traveler")

Some friends just came back from India after a trip organized by Ajay. They are world travelers and upon their return said that their trip in India was the best of any they had had in their lives and that one of the reasons was Ajay. They did a very high end trip, but some more adventurous friends of mine did a much more modest trip organized by Ajay and had equally good reviews.

So, in my book, you can't go wrong with Yatrik.com I recommend them without reservation.

Have a look at onthegotours.com . The prices are pretty reasonable and you have a choice of tailor made or group tours. We did the Deserts Palaces & Ganges - brilliant.
