I got a notice about these prices as well. As mentioned, the prices are excellent if you will be traveling then (not just to Thailand but specials all over Asia).

Hmmm...the one that works best for me is La Residence in Hue for $46 per night prepaid.
Wondering if this is a good idea? I've read some mediocre reviews of the hotel but it's normally $160/night++.

Kristina,
La Residence in Hue is LOVELY! I was there in July (at a much, much higher rate). In what respects is the hotel judged mediocre?

Marya-not sure, just an overall impression I got from Trip Advisor reviews. Maybe it's a price to value thing.
Did you like the location?

Just noticed the rate for La Residence in Hue is for a "Superior Queen" as opposed to a "deluxe King" at $160 per night. There's not a lot of detail about the differences between rooms on their website.
Anyone have any info?

Amazing prices on some properties in Asia. The Ibis in Chengdu is going for CNY160/night -- around US$25!!

hey shubhranshu - you're starting to get up my nose. If you want to make a comment then stop with the travel.justluxe links. Your advice is self-interested fabrication, your comments add nothing to the discussion, they are just a feeble attempt to insert your company into the conversation. Frankly, only idiots would use your website given the vast array of better alternatives on offer. Please stop treating us like fools.

Hi mang; just had to get that off my chest - hope you don't mind. It seems to me, if I remember correctly, that you're pretty close to lift-off. How many sleeps?

Haha. The feeble part is usually the biggest giveaway.

Hi Dogster. We're leaving in mid-April. It seems to be coming fast if you know what I mean...so many things to do before leaving, time seems so short. I hope India's going much better for you...have a chicken tikka masala plate for me with Naan and Roti. Oh, and some Rasmali! Take care

Kurt
