In Need of Private Tour Guides for Saigon, Hanoi, Danang
My husband and I are looking for a good English speaking guide for Saigon, Hanoi, and the Danang area. We would appreciate everyone's advice regarding their good experiences. Thank you.

This couple can set you up with some private tour guides.
Email address [email protected]
The guide I had in Saigon was Triguide.com
Hanoi
[email protected]
These guys stay very busy as they work for different tour companies so it may be hard to get them as individuals.
Your best bet is to contact the address given for [email protected]
I am only a person who was well pleased with the service they provide and used them on 3 different trips.

It is true you could manage without a guide, but I found I learned much I would have never learned without a good guide and driver. You don't rent a car so a driver is needed if you wish to venture out of the cities. If you stay completely in the city you can find your way,but if you want to venture farther as I did then a driver and a guide is much better.
My guide took me to his Mother's home for lunch way back in the country from Cantho- something I could have never done on my own. Also down the Mekkong to a home of a guy who fought with our American soldiers that was one of the most fascinating days of my life. It really depends on what you want to experience.
