Immunization in Thailand

Tried to look for previous forums on immunization in Thailand but I could not find one. Would anyone know if there is a need to be immunised when travelling in Bangkok and Krabi?

there have been tons of posts...

certain border areas have some malaria risks, like near cambodia and laos...

you need to be up to date on all shots...tetnus, polio, hep A, thyphus (sp), etc...

no shots are required...

check the CDC for your exact areas..

we get no shots for krabi or bangkok per se

Bob has guessed the disease starting with t- wrong. It's a typhoid vaccine you want. There is no vaccine for thyphus.

For the places you are visitng, you just need routine vaccines you should have to stay at home plus two traveller's vaccines: Hep A and typhoid.
