Hue hotel and tours

Hotels: Saigon Morin or La Residence.
There weren't elephant tours of the citadel when I was there. It doesn't seem like the kind of thing you can do there. Too delicate, what's left of it.
Sorry, I don't know of any tour companies in Hue.

That is because there are two ways you can go. Over the pass for the scenic route (if not cloudy or raining) and thru the tunnel. It would be a shame to do a day trip there. We had 2 days, 2 nights and wish we had another day. Beautiful, facinating and unspoiled when we were there in 2005.
