Hotel in Delhi
I was in Delhi earlier this year and stayed at The Imperial-lovely.
I am returning with my husband and 2 other couples next February and we have decided to find another not -so-expensive hotel. We are all from New Zealand and our dollar is worth about half the US dollar.
Any reccommendations?

As a f/u it is spelt Nirulas, the rooms have a/c, ceiling fan TV, radio, etc. The rates begin at about USD $43.00. The area is great, right in an area called Connaught place and Nirulas has two restaurants I have eaten in many times, one has Chinese food and the other is Continental casual. There is also a really good ice cream shop there as well and they cash travelers checks most conviently. There is also an exchange office across the street. BTW as a suggestion if you are interested men can get a tailor made suit in India for a fraction of what it costs in the US or Europe. There is a tailor shopp across from Nirulas called Vedi and I get clothes made there whenever I go to India. Hope this helps. Larry.
