Hotel in Bangkok with 2 double beds

Can anyone recommend a hotel in the Sukhumvit Rd area, near the sky train. We can pay up to 3000bht per night. I have searched and searched for a hotel with 2 double beds, but only find ones with 2 single beds. Thank you in advance.

Amari Watergate is not on Sukhumvit Road. Try looking at Adelphi Suites, a 'studio' double. I believe it is dbl beds and not twin sized beds. Price is for sure in your budget.

I don't think it's important to qwovadis where the hotel is situated as he doesn't really read the question before giving his opinion.

lol - the answer to every question about hotels in Bangkok is the Amari Watergate! Maybe he gets free nights for everyone he refers.

I think all of the big chain hotels have rooms with two double (or queen) beds - the Sheraton, the Hyatt, etc.

Thank you all for your help. Maybe I am getting confused, thinking that when they say twin beds, they are single beds, but maybe they are more like a double as I know it.

It might help to clarify your question a bit more, are you looking for a room that will sleep four? If so, most regular hotels in this region allow a maximum of three adults, so you're unlikely to find what you're looking for.

In hotel parlance, a 'twin' room means two beds, period. You can't know what size the beds are without asking the hotel directly (and even then, I'm not sure you'll get the correct answer).

We want a room for 2 adults. We like our own space. I think I may have found an altenative to a hotel.
Will try some apartments. Some excellent ones on trip advisor.
