I contacted Sawadee.com and they said their rates for Nov will not be avail until Sept. If we are looking for a booking for Nov 1st would you advise waiting for Sawadee and the others to publish their rates or just contact the hotels directly?? Or any other tips?

i use the prices prior to may 1 as a guide for what prices will be after nov 1 when the big change in prices usually occurs...

i think you will see the prices long before september also....

I used hoteltravel.com for my recent trip to Thailand. They too publish prices for the whole year. Very good website and prices.

Seems to depend on the hotel, those thru R24/Sawadee are always fixed prices so I guess they wait for the 'confirmed fixed' rates from hotels and many might not have decided yet, I did check R24 and some hotels have rates through but others don't so it may well depend on which hotel you are choosing, you can try huahin.20m.com or others that go through the same like www.beachsiam.com/bangkok_hotels.html, Nongasia also offer and also offer Rates-to-Go for last minute, www.nongasia.com/bangkok.html
