Hong Kong help?
Can somebody help me with this? I have about 4 days and 5 nights to spend in Hong Kong and really haven't a clue about it. So far I did some research on my own and came up with a rough idea on what to do-
Day 1
Morning to Noon- Lantau Island
1. Giant Buddha
2. Ngong Ping 360 Cable Car Ride (dunno wether it's open or not)
Evening- Kowloon
1. Avenue of Stars
2. Symphony of Lights at 8pm
Day 2
Whole day spent in Ocean's Park
Day 3
Spend some time cruising around Main Hong Kong island, the peak, SoHo, Hollywood Road, Western Market. Shopping around, sightseeing, etc
Day 4
Clueless... Hopefully one of the more popular temples. But most likely by the fourth day we will be a little tired to walk around much. Any suggestions?
I've heard that Hong Kong offers a variety of choices of food. Could someone suggest maybe a place where we can get great food with great deal? I am not really a picky person and I prefer having food out at stalls instead of flashy, expensive restaurants.
Also, if you can see, I haven't a clue what to do on the last 4th day, maybe someone can suggest something which is a 'must' in Hong Kong?
Any help will be deeply appreciated! Thanks in advance!

the length of stay you have for HK is great. be sure to visit the Peak, take the ferry frm Tsim Sa Tsui to Hong Kong island (it is cheap and you get the best view of the skyline!) and of course shop til you drop. the temple street night market is quite interesting. if you like night life, hit Lan Kuai Fung on Hong Kong island.
Foodwise, be sure to try cantonese Dim Sum, a great dim sum chain is the Die Xuan. they have branches in all the major shopping malls and the food is yummy and not expensive at all. also try the duck in hk in the many eateries you find. they are the yummiest. also wonton noodles. we tried japanese too and they are great.
you can also hop ona ferry and visit macua easily frm hk.

A search on the forum and you'll find plenty food tips for Hong Kong. As for food stalls, there aren't outdoor hawker centers like those in Singapore. There are inexpensive noodles joints are all over the place. Must try the wonton noodles! BBQ goose over rice noodles in soup is one of my favorite. If you are adventurous, go to Mongkok and you'll find various street foods like deep fried fermented tofu and spicy curry fish balls on a stick. Food in Mongkok is relatively cheaper so just pick a busy place and go in!

There were quite a few suggestions that I should spend the last day either visiting Macau or Shenzen. What do you guys think? Will it be too much of a hassle? Especially since I don't want to spend additional money just to apply for a visa or for the transport. Do you guys think it is worth the hassle?
