What time of the year are you planning your honeymoon? Also, what is your budget per day for accommodations?

http://www.intrepidtravel.com/search/trips is a good staring point to help you narrow down the choices.

45 days sounds a lot but unless you want spend a lot of your honeymoon constantly checking in and out of hotels and airports, I would limit yourself to maybe 4 countries. Your choice should take into account the time of year and weather patterns of the places you would like to visit as these will vary dramatically.

Buying a good guidebook will help enormously. I would stick to Fodors or Lonely Planet. Fodors also has a lot of useful info on the destinations section of this website. Some of teh guides will cover more than one country - say South East Asia which can be useful, and cost effective in planning this sort of trip.

Tell us what kinds of experiences you are looking for - big cities with exciting shopping and dining, historic sites like Angkor Wat, beaches, smaller towns with charm like Luang Prabang?

You could easily spend your whole honeymoon in Indonesia and you would still have to choose which places to go, things to see, as Indonesia is so large and so varied.
