Help with Mekong trip
I have been trying to contact Mekong travel at their e-mail ([email protected]) for several weeks for reservations in December 2008 but have not received a reply. Is there a better way to make contact or get information?

That's the cruise. Makes my mouth water. I am just having trouble getting further information about the 2008 schedule and "how to book". I suppose I could contact the USA tour agent instead of doing it myself. It seems so elusive. At first they said they could not send a brochure outside the UK and didn't know the 2008 schedule ... yet I've heard that reservations are taken years in advance! I'm also not enthused about telephoning to Cambodia.

Your question about Cruise from REP - SGN: Pandaw cruise:
-Upper Deck Twin Sharing $4,594.00 (Public rate)
-Twin Single Use $2,891.00 (Public rate)
I can check for the available and itinerary, but I need more of your details.
Honestly speaking, this cruise is expensive.
You can go by Le Cochichine for 2 days or 3 days from Can Tho to Chau Doc, just cost around 170USD/person (2 days) or 310USD/person (3 days). Come to visit this website: http://lecochinchine.com/
Feel free to email me for anything I can help.
Cheers

E mail Robert at [email protected] and he will sort you out.
It is a great trip, though not IMHO as good as their Chindwin cruise.

Look on the Pandaw site, select your cruise and squeeze your credit card. It's completely simple.
I just booked that cruise, and one in Myanmar yesterday thru the Pandaw site. It took all of two minutes - efficient follow up E mail immediately. They E mail you the documents once you've fully paid. I've been on this cruise before and on Pandaw lots in Myanmar - it's highly recommended - you've chosen very well indeed. The absolute best on Mekong is at high water time of year.
So, you can solve all this grief in about five minutes.
And yes, Tangata is right - that Chindwin cruise is a knockout.

I agree with dogster, www.pandaw.com is the best site to book on.
If you have any hassles, email [email protected] who is the boss's personal assistant.
Pandaw is an excellent operater. As dogster says, you have chosen well.
