Halal Food and Hotel In Singapore

Salam and hi to all. My husband and I and our 5 kids are planning to stay for 2 days in Singapore after our Bali trip. This is our first family trip to Singapore and i really need your opinions on hotel and halal food. I would prefer hotel that is close to MRT and suitable for kids. Thanks so much.

The problem with bidding on priceline is that you don't know which hotel you are getting until you've paid for it. Also, they don't show options for a room that can accommodate the children with you. I'd use one of the hotel booking sites like www.agoda.com or, once you find a hotel you like, call them to get the kind of room you want. I agree that being close to the MRT is important. I would expect you can find Halal food everywhere in Singapore.

What's your budget for the hotel? I'm guessing with 7 people you'll need at least 2 rooms. The Intercontinental is in a great location next to the Bugis MRT. The Orchard st YMCA is much more modest, but a clean and comfortable place with family rooms and is across from the Dhoby Ghat MRT.
