Gulf of Thailand of Andaman Sea in April?
My family and I are traveling to Thailand around April 13-17 and we were originally looking to travel to Ko Phi Phi but after looking at the weather averages around those times in April, not sure if the Andaman is the best location in April. We are really hoping to avoid rain and flooding. Do you think traveling to the Andaman sea or the islands in the gulf would provide a more rain free and rather sunny and pleasant enjoyable experience?

Look at each location you are considering. The Gulf of Thailand side will get less rain and the water will be calmer.
