Need a private or group day guide in Phuket

I cannot, frankly, imagine what one would use a guide for in Phuket. Phuket is an international beach resort area. Choose where you want to spend the day and catch a taxi.

I agree. You might want a griver for 1 day that will cost you $40 USD. If you are staying at a full service hotel with a beach and pool you are half way there. If you want to go on a snorkel tour to the Phi Phi Islands or if you are there at the right season the Similans (better snorkeling) both will be by a tour boat and they usually pick you up at the hotel. For dinner a taxi will cost you $3-$4 USD.

there is no need at all for guide over there, simply be on your own and if you needs a driver then stankase has guided well enough.

Check with your hotel after arrival, or if you find a tuk tuk driver you like hire him.
