I see that the first day of the Great Singapore Sale will be starting on our last day there.
Where are some of the best places to look for real bargains?

On the days running up to the sale, there'll be advertisements in the newspapers. Look out for those. On the first day there'll also be loads of advertisements, so you can see what you like and start there. Most of the major malls will have fantastic bargains, so any mall is safe. If you really want to have fun though, start early in the day, before people crowd the shopping malls. Many local people will actually take a day or two off just to shop during the Sale.
