Ahh ok. Well, to start, KL is a really great place to do shopping. If you're with the family, even better. Bring your digital along as there will be so much pictures to take. Also the food here is amazing. From all walks of life, you must try them all.

I'll post a bit more info later. Got to go out now.

KL_Guy
Great to hear that the shopping is good. Any good "family" places that you could recommend?

Well, depends on what kind of family fun you're seeking.

For example, there's all kinds of parks to start with, like the bird park, butterfly park, deer park, water theme park and resort all within the city.

Other things to do would be to check out the 'Batu Caves' just out of the city by around 10km. The cave consist of 3 main caves and a number of small ones. The best known of these caves is the Temple Cave, a large cavern with a vaulted ceiling about 100 metres above the floor. To reach it one has to climb 272 steps, a feat performed by many Hindus on the way to the caves to offer prayers to their revered deities.

Next are the KLCC twin towers, currently the tallest buildings in the world. At the base, is a massive shopping mall with hundred's of shops to choose from.

Going on, we have the KL tower, KL's version of the Eiffel Tower. Visitor flock here for the spectacular birds eye view of the city. The tower, designed in line with Islamic architecture, towers almost 300 feet above sea level and is one of the tallest telecommunications towers in the world.

Next, the many markets available from chinatown(day/night), little india and the central market for your handicraft.

If you feel like taking some chances, you could try out our only resort casino in the entire south east asia. Located 6000ft in the highlands and around 50km from the city, it's one family hangout, where there's entertianment for the kids AND the adults.

If you're interested in any personal tour services, please let me know as I am a 'part-time' private tour guide for my city.

KL Guy
