How much time to spend in Genting Highlands if travelling with children

Our family (Myself, spouse, a daughter 7 years, two sons - 5 and 3 years) are booked to spend three nignts and four days in August in KL. Any suggestions on how many days to spend in Genting Highlands in this trip for fun activities for children. Please suggest whether similar activities available in KL. Any other recommended activities in KL.
Thanks, Mukul

Genting is famous for the casino. if you travelling with your family, then you have to go to the Theme Park. i forgotten how much you gotta pay for the entrance. i think its around RM 47.

if you only spend 3 nights there. then maybe you can only stay 1 night at genting. depends what you wanna do there. for me, nothing much except the Casino and theme park. if shopping, genting is expensive.

for KL, you can visit the KLCC or KL tower. I love sunway lagoon, that themepark is better than genting. but lagoon is more to water park meanwhile genting one is dry park.
Bukit Bintang area is famous for its shopping complexes there.. besides that, visit Chinatown at the petaling street, you can get cheapo things there.. but remember to bargain.
people there are not that friendly, if you bargain to low, they will scold you

Hope it helps!
