Going from Singapore to Kuala Lumpur by bus/train?

I am just wondering if there is bus/train service to Kuala Lumpur from Singapore City.
Advice/experiences/recommendations appreciated.
Thanks

For info on the train go here: https://www.seat61.com/Malaysia.htm

There was bus service when I was there but it was a while back, I would expect there still is. The bus was lightly loaded and comfortable.

Hmmm. Seems its more complicated now. I was looking for fares just out of curiosity and came upon this:

If jacketwatch had read the link to seat61 that I provided he would have found that out already, plus the information would be up to date instead of two years old. The trip is no longer direct by train, but simpler than described in jw's link.

In Singapore, shuttle trains operate between Woodlands Train Checkpoint in the north of Singapore Island & JB Sentral, or you can take local buses between downtown Singapore, Woodlands Checkpoint and JB Sentral. See the Singapore station section for advice on how to transfer between central Singapore & JB Sentral.

You can also consider air as well. I looked up one way tickets on Air Asia and its around $50.00.

Good luck!
