Flight to Thailand

When is the best time to buy airfare to Bangkok for a November trip? I live in Toronto and am looking for flights and there posted for about $2000 CDN - way too expensive.

the summer flight prices from usa are always higher in summer for some reason...from boston i find the prices dip by mid summer, but that can be too late for some dates...

normal november price should be about $1100-1500 US.....have you tried eva air, air canada, air france?? and some of the middle east arilines like emerites??

Maybe try to find a cheap flight to the West coast (Vancouver) and then another to BKK? I've been looking into prices from NYC and it looks like I can fly for under $1,000 USD via Los Angeles.

Try http://toureast.ca/

They have good airfares to Asia from Toronto..Sometimes it is best to go through a wholesale company...I have used them in the past..

As everyone has said you have 2 route choices from Toronto, heading westbound ( some from Toronto but more from Vancouvrer ) or go eastbound.
Air France via Paris straight from Toronto but you might have a day stop, depends on their winter schedules.
A good one where you will probably find good fares would be Eithad. They fly direct from Toronto ( short stop in Brussels on the way ) to Abu Dhabi and then change flights through to Bangkok. I think the outbound means a long stop in Abu Dhabi but the return is at the moment a straight thru connection.
Emirates is twice daily non stop from NYC to Dubai and then they have 3 flights non stop Dubai-Bangkok every day.

We went on Orbitz and got Bos-Bkk in November for $1100. This includes the JFK-BKK direct flight.
