Finding a Small electric Kettle in BKK

Do you think I could easily find a small traveling electric kettle in BKK? If so, where would I look?

Yes. Should be no problem.

I have traveled with an electric coil for 15-20 years that can be used for boiling individual cups of water for coffee, etc. The one I have now is 220v and works fast (1 min.) in Thailand. But in the US at 110v maybe 8 minutes. (Used in airports when stranded because of storms, etc.)

In Thailand you can buy instant coffee packets real cheap. Nescafe and Birdy are 2 brands. Any Seven Eleven style store or supermarket will have some.

Like this but cheaper when you look around.

Don't ever remove the coil when still plugged in or it melts!

hy not just buy a cheap kettle form any supermarket - about 500 baht? No need to take it home, just give it to the room cleaner when you leave.

We easily found a small electric kettle (~200) in a little shop on Charoenkrung. As suggested will leave it with a room cleaner before returning home.

Most supermarkets sell 1 litre kettles for about 200 to 300 baht. Best to get one that switches off automatically!

Ask the concierge to get one for you. Concierges are good for everything with a tip. They are the biggest earners in hotels (and I won't say why).
