Favorite Snorkeling Sites in Thailand?

We are trying to hit the really good snorkel sites throughout Thailand. Which ones are your favorite and why? We will be there March April timeframe.

Thanks

I really like Koh Nangyuan as the coral are quite abundant and relatively close to shore.

Here's the web site: http://www.nangyuan.com/

Hanuman-
I checked our Koh Nangyuan and it is beautiful. Can you go there with a tour to snorkel or is it a place you have to stay on the island?

Thanks

Hanuman; Have you snorkeled in the Phi Phi's (Don and Luk areas) prior the the disaster or the Similan's or the Gulf of Thailand? I am just trying to get your frame of reference.
Thanks.

Travelmom,

You'll have to stay on the island, or on the nearby island - Koh Tao,and it's quite a nice place to spend a night or two.

Other good snokerling or diving areas are around Phuket on the Andaman sea. You can get a very good deal for accomedation and air travel right now since everybody are offering special discount(trying to recover from the Tsunami and lack of tourist visiting the are).

StanKase,

I've both snorkelled and dived on most destination in Thailand but truthfully I'm more of a big game fisherman and would only do the snorkelling or diving after the fishing is over for the day. Phi Phi is probably one of the few places I've not snorkel or dive - not much game fish around there!
