Evason Hideaway at Hua Hin?
Hi! We are thinking about staying at the Evason Hideaway at Hua Hin as they have a great deal on the luxury link website. Has anyone stayed in the pool villa suites? Can you comment on the resort overall?

First this property is actually in Pranburi which is not Hua Hin. Pranburi is about 30-40 minutes south of Hua Hin. They have 2 properties, the Evason Resort and the Evason Hideaway. It is close to the Sam Roi Yot National Park. There are some small beachside local places to east and a few other small resorts, but for restaurants, shopping etc you have to go into Hua Hin. Pranburi is a small provincial town about 20 minutes away from the Evason. If you really want quiet and remote then fine but do appreciate the location is remote and again, is not Hua Hin(!)
You don't say what time of year but guessing between now and end of October the local rates are around:-
1 bedroom Pool Villa including tax/service but not breakfast about USD 339, Duplex Pool suite about USD 379, Pool Villa Suite USD 490
You can compare that with the Evason 'Resort' that has standard rooms about 95, studio room about 117, beachfront studio about 188, pool villa 283.
So that you can make a rough comparison, the Hyatt Regency Hua Hin charges ( including tax, service, breakfast ) about USD 112 for a normal room, 162 for a Regency club room.
Certainly if you are after an upmarket pool villa the Hideaway is superb, just make sure you are getting a good deal!
Limo transfer from Bangkok to Evason should be around USD 120 each way. If you want to fly between Bangkok and Hua Hin Airport ( about 45+ mins north of the Evason ) they charge for the flight with SGA Aero about USD 135 return each. A taxi from Hua Hin Airport to Evason about USD 12.50 each way.
It's a quiet and remote area but ig you want to get away from it all with top class service then great and you will surely enjoy, don't expect too much from beach quality though.
Hope that helps.

If you want to see some more photos of the Hideaway:

Also sinnedgh if you look at the map you will see the location as related to Hua Hin itself.
If you wanted to considor a more boutique style place the Aleenta in the same area is worth a look, between USD 180 and about 400:
