First, tell us what kind of battery your digital camera uses. If it's rechargeable AAA or AA, then what rjkritzer says is correct. If it's the camera's own type of rechargeable, then look at your home charger. Most should say 100-240V, meaning it will accept any electricity in the world and you won't need a voltage converter. What you'll only need is a plug adapter so that you can plug it into the wall. Do a search on the web to find out what type India uses, and buy the appropriate adapter for it.

It is 220 v in India, so ur charger is good... the pins on the plug should be round (most in the US are flat), so u might need a connector there. IMO, u shd buy it in india, it will be much cheaper and u will know exactly what u need.
