eating near kul airport

Is there anywhere great to eat near the airport in Kul? Looks like we are going to have to stay the night near the airport. I love food and I can't stand the idea of eating crappy hotel food while I'm in such a great food country. Is taking the train into the city for dinner an option? Our flight arrives around 3pm. Then coming back to airport hotel that same night.. we have a 7:30am flight the next morning to BKI. Any suggestions would be great.

Yup, there's a train from the city to the airport (and vice versa):

...but if I were you, I would absolutely be staying in the city and just leave early for the airport. KL is an awesome city with fantastic food and beautiful sights. You can certainly make the most of it with that arrival and departure time.

I agree it makes more sense to stay in the city. The train is very fast and efficient. When we were last there, we used a service that combined the train and a car service in the city to whisk us to our hotel, then whisk us back to the airport.
