e-Visa for Cambodia

I used the e-visa services to get my visa on line. It cost the same as doing it upon arrival and I got it via email in 24 hours. Pretty slick.

Now if I don't have any troubles with it upon arrival, we'll call it a success.

I did the e-visa in May, just a week or two after it was first introduced. It actually took us longer to go thru immigration than the people without visas, because the immingration guys were not familiar with the new system. Hopefully they are now up to speed...

When do you go?
Have a great trip.

I will be back August 25th. I will let you know how it goes.

This sounds silly, but one reason NOT to use the e-visa is you don't get to have that cool page in your passport....

It costs 5$ more to get an e-visa, and people have reported that its taken longer to get through imigration, either because staff have been new to the system, or because they were on a break, and didn't appear till sometime later!

Please tell more. How do you go about getting the e-visa. I live in Thailand and do 3-monthly visa runs to the Cambodian border, would e-visa be suitable for my needs?

TexasSlim - It is only good if you are flying in to the 2 major airports. Cannot be used for any land crossings.
